Saúl is a restlessly curious soul. He has pursued a technical career in computer systems and in biology, as well as training himself as a financial advisor.
He has delved more deeply in the field of land ecology, developing an interest in food sovereignty and organic agriculture. He has been able to apply this knowledge by building a greenhouse for organic tomato production in the Ajusco area, as well as helping cactus farmers in Milpa Alta, Mexico City.
He teaches about the importance of producing our own food at primary education and university level, as well in some neighborhoods in the city.
He has collaborated with different institutions to raise awareness and seek solutions to the problems of food sovereignty in society.
